Each year over 200 artists and artisans set up on the green in the center for the Annual Milford Oyster Festival Arts & Crafts Show. The crafters come from many different states, with their artistic creations, to participate in one of Connecticut’s largest Arts & Crafts Show.

Among the arts and crafts that are presented, you will find some of the most beautiful and artistically designed arts and crafts ever offered. Some are country, some contemporary and some traditional; some are Victorian, some Early American. Some are modern. Visitors will find things for themselves, their homes, yards, children and gifts for everyone. Whatever you are looking for, you are sure to find it. Our talented artisans display a wide variety of truly spectacular craft projects.

The Annual Milford Oyster Festival Arts & Crafts Show includes items such as jewelry; hand painted clothing for children and adults; an array of decorative items for the yard and garden; beautiful stained glass; decorative items for the home, too numerous to mention; exquisite floral arrangements; leather garments, handbags and other accessories; furniture for home and yard. If you're feeling creative we have crafters who will guide you in painting ceramics, making candles, or designing a sand sculpture. Several artisans also demonstrate their craft at the show.

The Milford Oyster Festival has some of the finest crafts people exhibiting, and we welcome them into our show. Each exhibitor has his or her own special way of creating their work - and even though two or more people may do similar crafts, the individuality and special artistic abilities of the artist/artisan makes each one's work stand out uniquely from the others.
