Guidelines |
For
Main Street purposes, a Small Business includes any single entity
company, corporation professional corporation, LLC, LLP, FLP, sole
proprietor, or independent contractor, which has 25 or less employees
or staff, is unaffiliated with a parent company, and is organized for
purposes of generating a profit. |
| Exclusions |
Any
entity category above that has greater than 25 employees or staff;
non-profit organizations; franchises with 25 or less employees who are
affiliated with parent companies; and satellite or regional offices
with 25 or less employees that are part of a parent company. |

Guidelines |
For
Main Street purposes, a Large Business includes any company,
corporation, professional corporation, LLC, LLP, FLP, franchisee,
satellite or regional office of any parent company, or independent
contractor, which has greater than 25 employees or staff and is
organized for purposes of generating a profit. Preference will be given
to local large business at the discretion of the Main Street U.S.A. |

| LIABILITY
INSURANCE |
| Proof of liability
insurance will be required to participate in Main Street U.S.A.
If you do not have this coverage, it may be purchased though
'Annual Milford Oyster Festival' for an additional fee of $60. |

|
| Spaces
are limited. Once your application is received, if a space is
available, a contract will be mailed to you for your review and
completion. If no spaces are available, your application will be dated
and your name will be wait listed. |
|
| Because
of issues incurred last year on Main Street, payment must be sent with
the contract to guarantee your space. If payment is not received prior
to August 1st it will be assumed that you no longer would like the
space and it will be given to an individual on the wait list. |
|
| The
Annual Milford Oyster Festival's goal to provide a forum for non-profit
fundraising is accomplished by promotion of a wide variety of family
entertainment and wide variety of food and beverages (i.e. water)
available for sale at minimal costs by local Milford non-profit civic
organizations who use the revenues earned during the Festival to fund
their respective charitable causes. It is for this reason that the AMOF
Board needs to review and approve any giveaways that you may be
contemplating. |
