The purpose of the Annual Milford Oyster Festival is to promote a sense of community by providing a forum for non-profit and civic organizations to conduct fundraising activities and promote awareness of those organizations. This is an excellent opportunity for those organizations to raise needed funds, hand out information about their cause or service, or give demonstrations adding to public awareness.

Harmony on the Sound Harmony on the Sound Chorus - is a chapter of Sweet Adeline's International, a worldwide women's organization dedicated to promoting the original American art form of barbershop harmony through education and performance. The Harmony on the Sound Chorus in twelve-time champion of the Sweet Adelines' North Atlantic Region #1 chorus competition. HOTS Chorus will be performing at Levitt Pavilion in Westport on August 26th at 8:00pm as well as having their 2nd annual Cool Yule Holiday Cabaret on December 4th at 8:00pm at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish Center in Fairfield. Performing at the gazebo today at 1:00pm will be one of our small groups, Matinee.
Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 251 "Give 2 the Troops" Collection Point Located at the Fowler Bldg - Next to the Library. Veterans will collect torn and tattered American Flags for proper retirement,
