Daytime cruises
are approximately ninety-minutes long and will depart from the Milford
Boat
Ramp located behind Milford Library on Friday at 4:00pm and
on Saturday at 10:30am, 1:00pm and 3:30pm. Sunset Cruises
approximately two-hours long
will depart from the Milford Boat Ramp at 6:00pm
on Friday and Saturday.
The Festival’s senior and handicapped shuttle
from
Harborside School will be available for Saturday’s afternoon
cruises and will drop off guests in front of Milford Library.
Applications:
An application is required for each individual, and can be downloaded
from our website, ordered by calling the AMOF Hotline (203) 878-5363 or
picked up in person by visiting The
Milford Chamber of Commerce in Milford Center during normal business
hours. Incomplete or
illegible applications will not be processed. All applications
must be
signed; parents must sign
for children who are under 18 years of age the day of the
cruise.
Advance
Reservations: Advance
registration is strongly recommended and will be accepted on a first
come/first
serve basis. Please indicate a first through fourth choice for time
slots whenever possible so that we may process your application
efficiently. Check our website for updates on available time slots.
Advance Registrations Online (recommended): Online registrations end 24 hours
before cruise departure. To make a reservation online, fill out our
online guest form. Print Instruction page, choose your
time slot and pay online. Time slots purchased online are confirmed
with payment. Print your online Credit Card or PayPal
receipt as your confirmation. Waivers will be provided for you to sign
at the Cruise check-in table. See payment options below.
Advance Registration By Phone:
Advance phone registration ends August 16, 2010. To apply for a
registration by phone, call AMOF Schooner Reservations at
(203) 874-2875. Calls received separately will not be
guaranteed the same time slot. Thus, families and groups are urged to
make all reservations in the same call.
Time slots may fill while your registration is being
processed. Waivers will be
provided for you to sign at the Cruise check-in table. See payment
options below.
Advance Registration By Mail:
Advance registration applications must be postmarked by
August 14, 2010. Multiple
applications per envelope will be accepted. Payment for multiple
applications received in the same envelope may be combined in the same
check or money order. Applications received separately will not be
guaranteed the same time slot. Thus, families and groups are urged to
submit applications at the same time in the same envelope.
Time slots may fill while your application is in transit or being
processed. Payment for advance registrations can be by check or money
order (no
cash please). Mail applications and payment to: AMOF Schooner Cruise,

Box 5161, Milford, CT 06460. You will receive a confirmation letter via
email or
regular mail (with the inclusion of a self-addressed stamped envelope
with your application) noting your reserved departure time.
On-site
registration: You may register
the day of the Festival at the schooner cruise check-in table at the
Milford Boat Ramp (See
Festival Map)
for any available cruise 60 minutes prior to each sailing, subject to
space availability.
Payment
options: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and debit card payments will
be
accepted online or by calling AMOF at (203) 874-2875.
Checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and cash will be
accepted the day of the Festival. Please make
checks and money orders out to: AMOF.
Check-in times: All
guests are required to
check in for a boarding pass at the Milford Boat Ramp 30 minutes prior
to your departure time. Please bring your confirmation letter and ID
for guests over 18 is required. Guests will board the schooner 15
minutes before departure. Any guest not checked in at this time will
forfeit his reservation without a refund; guests are cautioned to plan
accordingly. Parking is not
available in the vicinity of the cruise departure. Check out the

Directions: Schooner
cruises will depart from the Milford Boat
Ramp. The Milford Boat Ramp is located behind Milford Library and the
Fowler Building on New Haven Avenue. Follow the road behind the library
to the Milford Boat Ramp across from the children's rides. Parking is not
available in the vicinity of the cruise departure.
On Friday, parking
is available at the Parson's Complex and various lots in Milford
Center. On Saturday, shuttle bus service is provided free to
Festival patrons who park at Jonathan Law High School and Westfield
Connecticut Post Shopping Mall. Passengers will be dropped off and
picked up at the Milford Senior Center located on the corner of High
Street and Jepson Drive. Handicapped parking is available at Harborside
School and a free shuttle is available to bring senior and handicapped
guests from Harborside School and the Milford Senior Center to the
Milford Fire Department Headquarters. Our senior/handicapped shuttle is
often
unavoidably delayed, please allow extra time. A late bus will be
provided for
guests on the Saturday Sunset Cruise to the school and mall parking
areas. For

Cancellations:
Guests may cancel their reservations and receive a
refund if they call AMOF at (203) 874-2875 no later than
August 14, 2010. No refunds will be issued after that date. Checks
and changes returned as
unpaid or insufficient funds will also void a guest's reservation,
guests are responsible for additional charges incurred due to returned
payments.
Refunds will be issued if and only if AMOF or SoundWaters cancels a
trip due to inclement weather.
